Refund policy
Because Studio Seraphina’s products and services are created specifically for each customer and celebration, all sales are final. Returns, refunds, or exchanges are not accepted once work has begun or payment has been received, except where otherwise required by law or where an error has been made by Studio Seraphina.
The Design Concept payment is non-refundable once purchased. It begins the design process, and your event date is reserved once payment has been received and date availability has been confirmed.
For quotes totaling $500 or more, a 50% non-refundable retainer is required upon acceptance. For quotes under $500, full payment is required upon acceptance. The required payment authorizes Studio Seraphina to begin detailed design work, sourcing materials, ordering supplies, reserving production time, and preparing for your event. Once that work has begun, the retainer or full payment is non-refundable.
Customer-provided items are customized at the customer's risk. While every effort is made to ensure successful application, Studio Seraphina is not responsible for manufacturer defects, material incompatibility, or damage resulting from the customization process.
Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing all Design Concept presentations and production proofs, including spelling, names, dates, colors, sizing, quantities, and other event details before approval. Once approval has been received, Studio Seraphina is not responsible for errors approved by the customer.
Due to the custom nature of Studio Seraphina's products and services, refunds, returns, or exchanges will not be issued for:
- Change of mind
- Event cancellations, postponements, or schedule changes
- Incorrect information provided by the customer
- Approved Design Concept presentations or production proofs containing customer-approved errors
- Minor color variations caused by screen, monitor, printer, or material differences
- Delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, venue restrictions, or circumstances outside of Studio Seraphina's control
If a customer chooses to cancel after the Design Concept payment has been made, the Design Concept payment remains non-refundable.
If a customer chooses to cancel after production has been authorized, payments made toward completed design work, purchased materials, sourced items, reserved production time, or completed services are non-refundable.
If your products arrive damaged or there is an issue caused by Studio Seraphina, please contact hello@studioseraphina.org within 48 hours of delivery and include photographs of both the damaged item and its packaging. Eligible concerns will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in a replacement, repair, store credit, or another appropriate resolution at Studio Seraphina's discretion.
By submitting a Design Concept payment, approving an invoice, or purchasing products or services from Studio Seraphina, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
